The School Meals Company is a multi-award-winning school meals producer based in Cork. The School Meals Company operate a 15,000 sq./ft production KITCHEN that holds grade A BRC accreditation. This is an independently verified food hygiene system that is the most respected system in the world and used by retailers such as Marks and Spencer’s to Tesco.

Our range of school meals are produced in small batches to given them a homemade taste, they are nutritious and meet all the health guidelines on low fat, low salt etc.

We use locally source ingredients and all meals are made to order to protect shelf life and quality.

The School Meals Company offer a number of pack formats for schools and caterers.

We can pack meals in individual portion pack through to the more popular multi portion packs. 

Meals can be supplied either chilled or frozen.

We can supply 3rd party school caterer’s, or we can supply schools direct, with our full range of products. The school meals company, develop, produce and deliver all the meals in house and do not depend on any 3rd party.

With new HSE guidelines as a result of Covid 19, we are seeing restrictions on staff in school kitchens due to social distancing, we have to look at different ways to serve food. The School Meals Company can support you in this.  The School Meals Company prepared meals and lunches, soup, side dishes, salads and sandwiches will save your team time and space as well as reducing waste. This allows your team to focus on other important elements of delivering a health and efficient school meals facility.

The School Meals Company is the only known School catering producer in Ireland that holds BRC certification for all its meals. This is one of the worlds highest food safety regimes and we are proud to hold ‘Grade A’, certification.

The School Meals Company have also designed a range of meals for schools taking part in the Urban School Meals programme also known as free school meals and work along side DEIS schools to provide health school lunches and meals to all students.
